June 7, 2016 (SAN ANTONIO) – The San Antonio Auto & Truck Show is gearing up for its 48th annual event. The San Antonio Auto Dealers Association has announced its 2016 show dates and highlights of the upcoming showcase. The four-day event will take place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center from Thursday, November 10 – Sunday, November 13. The show’s media morning, a special sneak peek for members of the media, will be held prior to the show floor opening on Thursday, November 10.
“With each year that passes, we continue to realize opportunities that make the show more innovative, progressive, and interactive for the attendees,” said SAADA president Pam Crail. “This November, we will show off a variety of connected car technologies, hands-on experiences in our Aftermarket Expo area.”
The show will feature the latest new vehicles, hot, exotic cars, exclusive ride-and-drive opportunities, and hundreds of 2016 vehicles from the world’s leading automotive manufacturers. The third annual Green Truck Award will be presented by Green Car Journal, as well as the second annual Commercial Green Car Award – both internationally-acclaimed awards.
The College Challenge will also be back in the mix, as students from local universities will compete against each other to be the fastest to get their respective student bodies into a small vehicle to claim bragging rights and a donation for their university group from the San Antonio Auto Dealers Association.
The Aftermarket Expo will return for the 2016 show, with amazing new elements, and returning exhibitors such as the San Antonio Raceway.
Admission is free for children, ages 5 and under, $4 for children, ages 6-10, $12 for adults online, $14 for adults at the door and $8 for military and seniors. Tickets will be available in September at www.saautoshow.staging.wpengine.com.
