2014 AT&T Championship: Golf legends will take to the greens this weekend, Friday, October 24 -Sunday, October 26 for the 30th annual AT&T Championship presented by Alcatel Lucent. The top thirty golfers on the Champions Tour money list are all slated to play in the event. From past champions Freddie “Boom Boom” Couples, Fred Funk, Mark McNulty and John Cook to crowd favorites like Esteban Toledo, Steve Elkington and Corey Pavin, the field will be filled with the best seasoned pros in the business on the beautiful TPC San Antonio course. It’s great to add to your family things to do in San Antonio for the weekend. It’s also a free event in San Antonio for active duty and retired military, as well as first responders. Tickets are being sold by local charities through the Champions FORE Charity program for $10 in advance of the tournament, with proceeds benefiting those charities.

13th Floor Haunted House: Rated the best haunt in the nation, 13th Floor is located at Sunset Station in San Antonio and should be on your list of fun things to do in San Antonio. As they say, “Step inside, take a ride, and travel through the 13th floor, visit the current occupants who call it their ‘home,’ witness the oddities and strange occurrences that have created the legend of the 13th floor and discover why it continues to be one of the world’s greatest mysteries.” The once-living Mr. Hollows, John Doe, Frank and La Llorona make themselves very known when guests least expect in as they travel through the halls of 13th Floor.
